All staff need to be of a high moral fiber both personally and professionally. Serving others is not something for which everyone is suited. It takes staff with good character, team players, who have a desire to impact the lives of those with whom they work. Thus employment in a J&M group home is more a calling rather than a job. It is a job requiring a willingness to constantly learn about people, to think “outside the box” as you help individuals with various challenges achieve small and large goals, and a desire make a difference every day.

All prospective candidates for employment must have hands-on experience in the field and will be required to complete the following to be eligible for hire:
-CPR / First Aid
-Medication Administration
-Therapeutic Options of Virginia (T.O.V.A.)
-Human Rights Test
-Current TB Skin Test

Additionally, prospective candidates are required to complete a criminal background check for employment.
